A Commitment to Tradition and Quality in the Ottawa Area
The Log Farm Timber Frames mission is simple: to create energy-efficient, custom built timber framed homes, as unique and distinctive as they are rich in traditional joinery and quality craftsmanship. Working in Eastern Ontario, we select only the finest materials and promote the use of reclaimed wood salvaged from barns and warehouses.
All joinery is traditional mortise-and-tenon, secured with chamfered, one-inch oak pegs. We specialize in complex roof truss systems, dormers and unique Japanese joinery techniques for both residential and light commercial structures. We also offer timber frame trusses for regularly constructed homes, to add spectacular cathedral ceilings or reflect personal tastes.
Our small group of dedicated and talented staff performs high-quality millwork, flooring, carvings as well as interior or exterior doors and unique staircases.
