A Commitment to Tradition and Quality

Our mission is simple: to create energy-efficient, custom built timber homes, as unique and distinctive as they are rich in traditional joinery and quality craftsmanship. We select only the finest materials and promote the use of reclaimed wood salvaged from barns and warehouses.

All joinery is traditional mortise-and-tenon, secured with chamfered, one-inch oak pegs. We specialize in complex roof truss systems, dormers and unique Japanese joinery techniques for both residential and light commercial structures. We also offer timber frame trusses for regularly constructed homes, to add spectacular cathedral ceilings or reflect personal tastes.

Our small group of dedicated and talented staff performs high-quality millwork, flooring, carvings as well as interior or exterior doors and unique staircases.

Restoring the Bradley Museum

"The Log Cabin at Bradley Museum project has been a very grass-roots initiative, with the money raised in the community to save a little cabin from demolition. Initially it was a challenge to find a log cabin expert who was willing to take on the project with our limited budget and our changing schedule. However, we kept looking and once we found Scott Kelly of Log Farm Building we knew the project was in very the best possible hands, and that we'd found someone who loved the building as much as we did. It was a true pleasure to work with him, and as the project nears completion, it is fair to say that thanks to Scott's stellar craftsmanship and dedication, it exceeds all our expectations."
